What are the Best Energy Saving Light Bulbs for an apartment?

Im moving into an apartment… only thing i have to pay is the electric bill…
soooo i wanted to know what would be the best energy saving bulbs to put up?
im pretty sure the sockets are standard sockets so any help plz?
oh and what wattage? idk whats good i just want a decently lightened room
and volts? how many volts?

    cfl or esl which are newer and marginally safer than current cfl’s.

    The time and have that natural whiteyellow glow of normal tungsten bulbs if you can get them in the states they are hard to use these all time and energy saver twist bulbs are very cheap to use these all the time actually tungsten bulks.
