I’ve heard that it takes more gas to start/keep starting your car than to just let it running.
I’ve heard that cruise control on the highway acctually takes up more gas.
I’ve heard that constent acceleration then stopping (Stop Sing to another stop sing, ect.) takes up more gas.
Can anyone help me with these myths and tell me if any of them are true.

For up to five or even ten minutes and acceleration from slow or stop uses lot more gas than steady driving not sure about the cruise.
I’ve found slowing down gives the best results, slowing from 75 to 65 can save 5 mpg !
